WHAT IS AMA?
The Oakland University Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association has a mission to successfully develop future marketers through professional interaction and exposure to current and relevant market information. We also place value on service to the community and mentorship to students who have recently expressed interest in the field of marketing.

Every year, AMA National hosts the International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans where schools from all over the United States compete and get the chance to network, gain advice from top industry professionals, and meet fellow marketing students fom all over the country.

The American Marketing Association of Oakland University's mission is to develop aspiring businessmen and women by hosting a variety of diverse marketing-related events with representatives from various companies to assist students in expanding their professional knowledge. Our members will develop knowledge that expands beyond the classroom and builds networking skills with their peers and distinguished professionals. Our members will also strive for personal growth by giving back to the community and demonstrating excellence in and out of the classroom.
